Géographie
7 kms carrés, soit 700 hectares. (Monaco fait 2 kms carrés).
Le Liberland est séparé de la Serbie par le Danube qui fait 200 mètres de large à cet endroit. C'est pour cela que la Serbie ne s'occupe pas trop du sujet.
Par contre, le Liberland est rattaché terrestrement à la Croatie.
Raison pour laquelle elle s'en préoccupe.
En août 2023, la Croatie maintient 20 policiers autour du Liberland en permanence, ainsi que 4 bateaux.
Et en cas d'événements, il y a même plus de policiers présents.
En août 2023, il y a un point de passage terrestre officiel coté Croate.

Ark village
Ark village, its not in siga (mainland) but it is part of Liberland. Ark is bought from the serbian gov so its offical liberland own land.
Ark village, also known as the Zelena Glava tourist-recreational complex, is a place that Liberland bought sometime in 2020 from the special nature reserve park of the "Upper Podunavlje" , the project was started in 2010, but it has not progressed much. So Liberland decided to buy the land and with it start a project for the Liberland diaspora, where its residents and locals could get a sense of the country's spirit.
It hosts the Floating man festival, a painter colony ARK22, culinary content, to name a few. There is also a possibility to sleep there in wooden huts and there is space for tents, full citizens can also buy one of the huts and move in completely (it was on VICE, so far one woman lives there permanently).
I'm not surprised that people don't know, because the community is more closed and their marketing response is weak.
Particularités
Ni la Serbie, ni la Croatie ne réclament ce territoire.
Croatia maintains that the land belongs to Serbia despite its police blockade around the territory, which Serbia no longer claims.
It is our position that a court will not award land to a party that does not claim it.
Et pourtant la Croatie s'efforce d'empêcher l'accès. La Croatie à des policiers en uniformes sur le territoire du Liberland, alors même qu'elle prétend que ce territoire est Serbe.
En juillet 2023, il est quasi impossible de se rendre au Liberland du fait de la police Croate. Un youtubeur connu a réussi après 3 tentatives, avec un jetski.

Citoyenneté
En 2018, il y aurait 400.000 demandes de citoyenneté en cours.
La citoyenneté s'obtient via un système de points (LLM ou LiberLand Merits). 5000 merits sont nécessaires.
Les merits s'obtiennent de différentes façons, la plus simple étant d'effectuer un don de X euros qui crédite le compte de X merits. Les merits s'obtiennent aussi en faisant la promotion de cet état.

Misc
Il y a (semble-t-il depuis le début) de l'activité économique autour de Liberland. Principalement touristique. Liberland est, pour l'instant, aussi une attraction.
Le projet https://www.liberstad.com/ fonctionne un peu de la même manière, avec également un resort adossé au projet.
